Best hotel in Oahu, Hawaii for Seniors?
Looking to send my parents to Oahu for their anniversary… they are in their early 60’s and would much appreciate a more laid-back trip and not be overrun with partying college students. What would be a good place for them to stay that works with a tight budget? My father is a veteran and would love to visit Pearl Harbor, is there a good tour company that does a nice trip there? What about an authentic luau? Any advice would be wonderful! 
I recommend The Queen Kapiolani Hotel. For the location the prices can’t be beat.
The best part about this hotel is that it is one block from the beach, and there are rooms where you have an ocean view out one window and a view of Diamond Head out the other. It’s across the street from the Honolulu Zoo, so you wake in the morning to the sounds of elephants. It’s seen better days, but I’ve stayed in much worse. Join their Crown Club for the best rates. As Crown Club members we paid $100 in October for a room with an Ocean/Diamond Head view room with a kitchenette, and rooms with the same view cost less than that. We’ve stayed there the four times we’ve visited Honolulu.
If you are looking for a moderately priced hotel I recommend The Waikiki Parc.
