Hawaii Restaurants Oahu

Kauai or Oahu?
My fiancee and I plan to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We prefer to stay on an island and not Island-hop. Here's the problem. We love the beaches of calm during the day, but a little nightlife in the night, in restaurants and the worst may be music. Kauai seems best to ensure that during the day, Oahu seems better for the night. Also, we would go riding on the beach – but the two islands seem to have that. Basically, would we bother to Kauai, where are the beaches / resorts just as entertaining we would OK for five days? Or should we seek Oahu, Waikiki far enough to be quieter during the day but close enough to entertain us during the night?
I'm Gonna Say Kauai. It is very Rarely do you find a quiet beach on Oahu, no matter how you're away from Waikiki. Kauai is much calmer, and you have a number of beaches all to yourself. The nightlife may not be as good as Oahu, but I am sure you will not be that bored. I am a bartender and I spoke with many tourists. You need to take into account the fact that you have the time difference, so if you're used to staying up until 2 your time, remember that the 11 pm our time, at least if you're from the west coast. Also, I know it seems to relax and you may laugh, but go to the beach is actually much work, and you wear yourself well. More than likely, you'll want to see some of the 'card "beaches that require at least a hike light, so I'm sure you'll want to swim and Hawaii currents of most people in the continent are not used, trust me when I say you may not have the strength to go out at night. If you do, there are some local bars where they have a dj playing, you can sing karaoke, or even catch a local band live. If you can look up Tradewind, Trees, Rob's Good Times Grill, the point at Poipu Sheraton Tahiti Nui, and Lizard Lounge.
