Hawaii hasn’t played anyone? Ask Michigan how they felt after playing “no one” (APP STATE)?
Just shows you have to play to find out who is the better team. 11 conferences…use the winners of each….play the extra 2-3 games in the 45 days before the BCS title game and then see who is left standing. This season has shown from week to week that you can’t vote a champion and no other college sport does that except football. It’s not rocket science people. I asked this similar question earlier today and got stupid answers about weak conferences and schedules. Why should any college team play the season if they aren’t ranked then? Again I say APPALACHIAN STATE-who? GEE a nobody beat a somebody ON-THE-FIELD what a concept. Hawaii and Boise State( who beat OKLA) have shown that undefeated means nothing, what more do you want? Im not saying the are the best team but we will never know then will we? Money and ratings are and always will trump logical reasoning in college football.
Ok…. One nobody beating a somebody. But how many times has a somebody demolished a nobody. Umm too many to count im sure. Every dog has its day, but that day doesn’t come very often. ( SEC rules!!!)
