Hawaii Doctors
Are there any laws that prevent doctors from accepting gifts from pharma companies?
I am an IT consultant in the medical business and I’ve noticed that big pharma companies are always buying doctors lunch or giving them free trips in the guise of training or other freebees. I would think there would be rules or regulations against this? I mean do you want a prescription because the prescribing doctor will get a trip to Hawaii or a dinner at a fancy restaurant?
Why and how would there be rules and laws about it when Congress does the exact same thing? This whole country and the way they do business is immoral and corrupt.
